• A year-round destination; the dry season (June–October) offers the easiest wildlife viewing on the crater floor.

A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Ngorongoro is the world's largest inactive, intact volcanic caldera: a natural amphitheatre 600 metres deep, cradling one of Africa's densest concentrations of wildlife. Its permanent water and grass draw resident herds year-round, including one of Tanzania's last populations of black rhino.
